Every private or professional recreational vessel over 7 m in Greek territorial waters owes TEPAI, whatever its flag.
It is billed per calendar month: 7–8 m €16, 8–10 m €25, 10–12 m €33, over 12 m €8 per meter of length.
It must be paid in advance — before entering Greek waters or before the month starts. Fines for missing payment start around €190 and exceed €1,100 for vessels over 12 m.
Boats hauled out on dry storage do not owe TEPAI for those months.
